Just like a crackhead thinks getting more drugs...

Just like a crackhead thinks getting more drugs is the answer to his drug problem, democrat politicians think raising taxes is the answer for the deficit.

It's not.

The answer is to stop wasteful spending and being more tight on government spending. Of course, this leads into another debate of what's wasteful and what is not but let's just deal with basics first. For now, lets leave out welfare and war/military spending. Instead, let us focus on some that are more obviously wasteful spending.

The real racists, the real bigots, the real hypocrits

I'll start off by quoting a paragraph from the article "Watts Walks a Tightrope on Affirmative Action" from the WashingtonPost.com:

Raised in a family of Democrats, (Senator) Watts declared that the party had taken blacks for granted and switched to the GOP, becoming the first African American elected statewide when he became one of Oklahoma's three corporation commissioners in 1990. Four years later, Watts won a seat in Congress as part of the Republican landslide.

You know what's funny?

I'm meeting more and more young black men and women who are proudly calling themselves Republicans, even though they were raised in Democrat families.

Bob Parks: Black & Right

I met one man who is serving in the airforce. I was in a Taco Bell getting lunch on my lunch break when a black serviceman (Air Force) who wasn't much younger than me was in line behind me. I offered to buy his lunch in return if he would sit and talk with me about how things are going on in the military, Iraq, and many of his personal opinions.

Needless to say, and it was no shock to me, to find out that he was a registered Republican.

Democrats will say that black Republicans are blind. I say that black Republicans are not blind at all, instead their eye-sight is 20/20 and they have realized, as will many more eventually will, that the Democrat party is not the party that is looking out for them.

Here's something for Democrats to think about. You say you are for the minority groups and yet you ridicule and bash minorities... even those of your own party. Al Sharpton. presidential hopeful, was heavily ridiculed and bashed by many in the Democrat party.

The minority population has sat back, watched, and are getting pissed with Democrats for constanyly holding back minority appointees like Condi Rice, who was heavily ridiculed by the Democrat party. Powell too, and several judges of minority race such as Miguel Estrada, Claude A. Allen, former democrat and Bush nominated judge Charles Pickering...

Columnist Armstrong Williams in his article, "Judge Brown and the new racism", had this to say:

Justice Janice Rogers Brown, the first black woman to sit on California's Supreme Court. Brown has been nominated for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, a position that is widely regarded as a stepping stone to the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Brown's track record is impeccable.

Nonetheless, the Democrats have dug in their heels in opposition. Unable to criticize Justice Brown's professional conduct, the Democrats have taken to attacking her through a series of reductive and increasingly racist smears.

Just like that, all of Judge Brown's hard work-she rose up from a segregated Alabama community to achieve personal and professional success -- dissolve beneath the hurtful and reductive label of "Uncle Tom." This is no different than using the "N-word" to sum up an individual.

This is the approach the Democrats take every time a conservative minority is nominated for a position of prominence. This is what I call, "new racism." It's about systematically preventing conservative blacks and Hispanics from achieving positions of prominence in this country. It's about summing up complex human beings by the color of their skin. And it sends the damaging message that because we share the same skin color, we all need to think, act and vote the same way.

The Democrats don't give a damn about the progress of minorities. They Democrats only care about progressing their own agenda and keeping the hard-working and proud Hispanics, blacks, and other minorities under their thumbs.

Keep calling Bush a dumb idiot, Democrats did the same with Reagan and they got their asses handed to them.

Bush only plays the role of the idiot, what better way to lull your enemies into a false sense of security?

Bush is playing the Democrat party like a guitar. While yes, the Republican party may have some racists hidden in the dark corners, Bush is showing the American public just who really runs the Democrat party: racists, bigots, and hypocrits.

There is no guarantee!!!

There is no guarantee of Social Security!!!

OK, now before I start. To take a quote from Niel Boortz:

Don't believe anything you read on this web page, or, for that matter, anything you hear on The Neal Boortz Show, unless it is consistent with what you already know to be true, or unless you have taken the time to research the matter to prove its accuracy to your satisfaction. This is known as "doing your homework."

Democrats and Republicans both who are talking about and making legislative law to guarantee Social Security is just as empty and hollow a promise as the Republicans 1994 "Contract with America". Now Newt Gingrich, the original auther of the "Contract with America", has now produced a book titled "Winning The Future: A 21st Century Contract with America". Now Newt, just to remind ya, you were removed from the Majority Leader seat by the same Republicans you betrayed and the original contract you later worked against because you were mor concerned about saving your political career rear.

Liberal admitting Bush may be right?

Never thought I would see the day but...

A liberal newpaper admiting that Bush may be right?

I particularly love this quote by columnist Mark Brown, "If it turns out Bush was right all along, this is going to require some serious penance. Maybe I'd have to vote Republican in 2008."
